The Cardinals lost to the pitiful Braves tonight by a score of 14-4 as Jeff Suppan fell all over himself. The good news (I hope) is that they just made a trade to pick up Jeff Weaver. Maybe Duncan can get him straightened out...

Jeff got throughly screwed up by that trade to the Yankees. I don't know if it was leaving the Tigers or trying to pitch in NY, but he's not been the same pitcher since.

I see a report that six of his last seven starts were good ones (the last one apparently being bad), so maybe the Cards (and Weaver!) are about to get lucky.
