billroperEric Distad recommended the Slate VSX modeling headphones as something that would be useful when mixing. I had the budget available, so I picked up a set. They arrived today and I had a chance to play with them a bit. It looks like they'll be useful when I'm trying to put the final tweaks on a mix, so it will be money well-spent.
Of course, I need to get the current project together to the point where I'm actually *mixing*, which means I need to do some more *planning* and *recording*.
