A Roaring Fire

I decided that the lumber that was in K's late bed was sufficiently well-seasoned that it was better to burn it in the fireplace than to put it out for the landfill. I got K to help me cut it down to size (save for the slats, which will get the treatment later), removed the metal screws, and burned around a third of it in a roaring fire in the fireplace this afternoon.

It was very picturesque.
