billroperI knew that Quantum Leap had been renewed for another season, but I was somewhat surprised to see what were obviously scenes from next season in the episode trailer after the season finale. And then I realized that was going on: NBC is banking episodes of Quantum Leap against the possibility / probability of a writers' strike that would disrupt the next season of television.
Sure enough, I did a bit of Internet searching and discovered that they started filming season 2 in February. Aha!
And the other 10 episodes of Magnum P.I. are almost surely being filmed and banked for next year as well.
