Ever since we moved in here, the bedroom that K sleeps in now has had problems with the HVAC system not delivering enough air to keep the room at a good temperature. I just ran into something new (to me at least) which may solve the problem.

Apparently, you can get a register cover with a built-in thermostat and a pair of powered fans. When it detects that air of the appropriate temperature is drifting slowly out of the vent, it kicks the fans into gear to suck that appropriately hot or cold air into the room.

At least, that's what the claim is.

I have ordered one and we'll see how it works.

I hope that the answer is "well".
