And We're Back

The kids really wanted to go on an actual vacation this summer, especially with their opportunities to go to conventions being few and far between (the upcoming Chicago Worldcon notwithstanding), so we spent Monday through Friday this week at a water park up in the Wisconsin Dells. While they've largely outgrown most of the water park activities, we had fun riding the ducks and taking the river tour. And then there was the escape room yesterday morning, which was a lot of fun as we finished up with 3:01 to spare. (Julie insists on complaining at me because I hit the button at 3:01 instead of 3:00.)

But now we're home. Ruby has been redeemed from the kennel and Sunshine appears to be doing fine, although she would really like us to get into the bedroom and on to the ceremonial petting of the cat.

So I guess I'll be doing that now.
