The other day, Gretchen misunderstood which movie that Julie wanted to see, so instead of seeing "The Corpse Bride", they ended up watching "The Princess Bride". Happily, Julie liked it quite a bit, but now she would like to see more films like "The Princess Bride", which is currently classified as light, medieval fare.

This turns out to be more difficult to find than you might expect. We started to show her "Robin Hood: Men In Tights" tonight, only to discover that she is entirely unfamiliar with Robin Hood. We corrected this by showing her the Disney animated version tonight.

But we need more ideas. So what suitable films might we be able to find on streaming from Peacock, Prime, Disney+, or Hulu?

If you think she is old enough and also can cope with the 'British' sense of humour then maybe she would enjoy a Monty Python film, perhaps 'Holy Grail'

Hmm... Maybe you all need a family holiday to the British Isles and teach them that in England a 100 miles is a long way while in the USA a 100 years is a long time ;)

Also, if you/they turn out to like British fun/comedy movies maybe watch "The Italian Job"

The notion of anyone not knowing about Robin Hood is so bizarre to me that I'm stumped.

I'd offer up "A Knight's Tale" into that mix.
