Sofa, So Good

They were having one of their periodic sales at La-Z-Boy this weekend. Given the condition of the sleeper sofa in the living room and the couch in the family room, we had been thinking about doing something about this for a long time and figured we'd check things out.

We have now done something. The results will not be evident for a long time, because there's a four to seven month lead time on custom orders, but waiting would only result in being four to seven months down the road and *not* having the new furniture.

Sofa, so good.

Ayup. And even when it's finished, it may take a while to get delivered. I ordered a new chair for the living room in February (when it was only 12-16 weeks lead time), it left the factory in early June, but didn't get to my living room until July. The salesperson said the truck took the scenic tour of the upper midwest - left North Carolina on June 9, arrived in Chelsea on July 5.

however, hooray for new furniture. :)
