Meanwhile, the decision on the appeal of my property value to the Cook County Board of Review came back today. They've knocked another 8% off the assessed valuation of my house, which means that it is now in line with the actual value of the property, which makes me happy. :)

I cannot say enough nice things about Kathy, who works in the office for my Cook County Commissioner, Sean Morrison, and who helped me work through this whole process.
