The problem with being reachable via Slack is that you'll be trying to debug a complex bit of code, and Slack will keep pinging you when someone is looking for you. Again, and again, and again...

Microsoft Viva has a feature to designate blocks of "focus time" when you'll be spared all but the most important notifications. Sounds useful.
