A Farewell to Summer
Oct. 14th, 2020 06:19 pmI'm typing this from my patio. I came out here to throw things for Ruby, because it is wonderfully warm out here for the middle of October. But the leaves are turning and the clouds and the wind tell me that tomorrow will not be nearly so kind as today.
It's the last gasp of the worst summer ever. But I appreciate this day, because it could be much worse.
