The New Year's Eve Rescheduling

Whatever it was that I had last night is worse today, to the point where going out for New Year's Eve is an extremely bad choice. I don't feel terrible, but my lower digestion has made it clear that this is subject to change with quite limited notice.

So we'll be staying home tonight.

Did you have shellfish by chance? I've seen family members get sick from the cold/raw shrimp and mussels at Chinese buffets. (As opposed to the dishes they are cooked into.)

No shellfish. I'm allergic to shrimp, crab, and lobster, and never developed a taste for things like raw oysters.
