And we're back from a couple of days up at the Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee. This facility is comparable in many ways to the one in the Dells, but much closer. The two big problems were that there was no hot tub (which was a comparatively minor problem) and that Katie was apparently allergic to whatever chemicals they were using to keep the water clean, as she started itching after about a half-hour in the water and continued itching until she showered off. For a water park, this is non-optimum.

Despite this, a good bit of fun was had.

Unfortunately, I am now exhausted from my vacation.

But fortunately, I have two days to recover. :)
