Better Living Through Chemistry
Jul. 14th, 2019 10:14 pmWe've been repairing my medicine cabinet where the mirrors -- which are held onto the door by double-sticky tape -- are starting to separate from the door. Needless to say, we would like to avoid a complete separation.
We had fixed the center door a few weeks ago and went to work on the right-hand door last night. Unfortunately, removing the old tape is challenging.
Today, we bought a can of acetone. It is *amazing* how well it does at removing the old tape and glue. And the right-hand door is now reassembled and working well.
Eventually, I will get to the left-hand door.
In the meantime, it is time to call the handyman to replace Katie's bedroom door, which is now falling off of its frame.
*sheesh*
