The Sandlot (A Burger Story)

billroperThis has nothing to do with softball or baseball, save that I passed by this restaurant on the way back from Katie's softball game a week ago Saturday. I recalled having heard of the place, which is in a converted KFC at Touhy and Greenwood in Park Ridge, and decided that I wanted to go there for lunch some time -- encouraged by the sign on the place that said "fresh burgers, fresh cut fries".
Today turned out to be "some time", so I headed over there and had a wonderfully sloppy double cheeseburger, some nice fries, and a large soda for under ten dollars. If it were closer to home, I would eat there more often. :)
Y'all should try it out if you're in the neighborhood.
