We were going to go out to Canterbury today, but having violently overslept, we've revised our plans and are going to spend the day at demoneyes and oreouk's resting up for the con.

After all, the objective was to avoid the dreaded Bataan Fun March.

Well have a nice relaxing day then. If you feel inpired to do something touristy you could always go into Gravesend and see the church underneath which Pocahontas is buried :-) Our one claim to fame.

And there's the lovely secondhand bookstore...It's been three years now, so I don't recall the name of it, but I recall walking in and snarfing up 7 hardcover Pratchett novels for 4 pounds each. I bounced the rest of the way to the Pocahontas church. :)

The TV is switched on by pressing the button on the set, then pressing the power button on the remote.

The surround amp is switched on with the power button on its remote.

The hifi amp (top left) needs to be on but settings should all be right.

If you don't see the DVD picture, press the bottom left button on the TV (white-grey) remote - that toggles through available inputs. Probably one press needed to get SCART 2.

And the Firefly DVDs are around...
