I ran to the store first thing this morning to pick up the last of what we'd need for Thanksgiving dinner. Then we headed out for lunch and to see "Ralph Wrecks the Internet", which I liked a lot.
Gretchen made a turkey breast for dinner, along with mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and stuffing. The stuffing was a heavily adulterated version of Trader Joe's Cornbread Stuffing Mix, adding a cup of pecans, a cup of dried cranberries, some sauteed onion and celery, and doubling the amount of butter called for on the package. It was really good that way. :)
The baking of the pumpkin pie has been postponed until Sunday, when I get back from Chambanacon.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
