School's Out For Summer

Today was the last day of school. Katie has officially graduated from Terrace; Julie will be a fifth grader next year. Following this:

Katie's softball team won 11-7.

Julie went with Mom to the swimming pool.

Katie wrangled an impromptu sleepover at a friend's house.

We have agreed to let Julie watch TV in the living room until she falls asleep.

Mom has gone to bed and plans to wake up sometime in the year 2419 A.D.

And I intend to join her after making this post.

Except that I have to work tomorrow, so I will be getting up.

This seems fair.
