billroperToday, the Chicago Cubs, having messed up Corey Patterson something fierce, proceeded to trade him to the Baltimore Orioles for a mess of pottage. *sigh* And I recall that Dusty was supposed to be such a good "players' manager", but he can't seem to manage and he can't seem to make a difference in signing players.
Of course, he probably won't be around next year.
