Back From GAFilk

Back from GAFilk, where I had an excellent time. daisy_knotwise picked me up at O'Hare once United found a gate for our plane (we touched down 20 minutes early) and managed to get our luggage to the carousel (42 minutes after we got to the gate).

I'll have more to say about GAFilk later, I suspect, but we had to take the Christmas tree out for the recyclers to pick up tomorrow. Gretchen had already removed most of the ornaments, so I just had to take off the high ones and help unwind the light strings. And since the cleaning lady is coming tomorrow, it was really time to clean up before she arrives. :)

Do you give your cleaning lady a xmas tip? How much? I get tips at xmas for cleaning and they vary a lot. I read in the paper you are supposed to leave up to the amount of one cleaning. I'm wondering what other folks do.
