The Cubs lost to the Dodgers tonight by a score of 6-1 in a game that was not as close as the score would indicate. They couldn't hit, they couldn't pitch, and they couldn't field -- a triple threat!

This puts them behind in the NLCS 3-0. As I recall, only one baseball team has come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a seven game series.

We'll see what happens.

Joe Maddon should read what Nate Silver has to say about the proper use of relief pitchers. It would help him to understand why it was a bad idea to overwork Aroldis Chapman in game 6 of the World Series last year, and why he should have brought in Wade Davis in game 2 of the current NLCS.

Edit: Maybe I'm too cocky. I see that Turner homered off Davis in game 4, just like he homered off Lackey in game 2.
