Preparing for Tomorrow's Festivities

My colonoscopy.

I am sitting here, trying to get some work done for work while drinking a large container of Sprite for its nutritional value -- which is sharply limited! The clear fluids diet is remarkably limited, especially since I don't particularly care for "fat-free broth". Yum.

I am so looking forward to lunch tomorrow. :)

I consider it a periodic necessary evil. At least the instructions this last time meant the doctor was able to see everything he needed to

You're not saying anything about the gallon of enema or whatever that colonoscopy preppers have to mix and drink the previous evening. Or don't they do that any more? If so, why couldn't they have advanced past it a few years earlier so I'd never have had to suffer the goop?

Oh, I drank the stuff. It's just so much better than what they gave me the first time that it hardly seems bad at all. :)

Hearing about my friend's colonoscopy adventures almost makes me happy to have had mine removed.
