Puppy Picture As Promised

Well, it's a picture anyway. There is a certain difficulty in taking pictures of a small black dog.

But Ruby has found the sunbeam. And the open shelf that sits above the heating vent. And she is happy.

To quote For Better Or For Worse, "Why does the house smell like dog?"

Oh, yes...black dogs are extremely hard to photograph! My granddog, Lila, is a black lab mix, and the lighting has to be *just right* in order to capture her cuteness!

Congratulations on the newest edition to your family...she'll bring you a lot of joy, just be prepared to have your furniture "modified" when she starts teething! Oh, yeah, and perhaps lose a few pillows and cushions along the way. Oh, the joys of puppy ownership!
