Just Like That
Nov. 27th, 2015 02:04 pmSo I got my electrical repairs merit badge today by replacing the faulty breaker in the basement along with the suspect GFCI outlet in the kitchen. I powered everything back up and all was well.
Until I went to the office, where my computer stubbornly refused to power up. In fact, nothing was powering up.
However, other things on that circuit were fine.
A bit of inspection revealed that my nearly new Belkin surge protector had bought the farm. Grumble.
I have a new power strip coming tomorrow from Amazon (from a different manufacturer), so I'll be able to wire it up on Sunday when I get back from Chambanacon. In the meantime, I need to grab a different power strip and fire the WAP back up so that everyone can see it. (The backup WAP in the basement is working, but the signal isn't as strong.)
See some of you at Chambanacon!
