Tumbling to Ingress

I took Julie to her tumbling class tonight and rolled up about 40K AP in Ingress while she was there, which puts me within striking distance of level 9. We'll see how long it takes to actually arrive there...

Although she was reluctant about going to class, Julie was really happy about the class when it was over. This is being a recurring feature of the class.

Me? I'm just confused by all this.

As far as making level 8, if you've got enough enemy portals in your area, you can do it in a month fairly easily. Your weapons are now getting better fast.

Glyph hacking helps too.

Actually, so far most of my activity has been hacking and recharging, with some linking.

Yes, indeed. I just got my second (= silver?) Translator medal, with 2,009 glyph hack points. An experienced player told me that most agents don't bother to learn glyph hacking. Heh.

I got my silver Translator medal yesterday. Of course, it was about a month before I started glyph hacking, so I was a late bloomer.

Seriously though, you get 750 AP for every field that you knock down. This is less than you get for putting a field up, but those blasters need to go somewhere and into enemy portals is the best place. :)

And once you capture those portals, you can relink them yourself.

Oh, I use them all right, but not always that way. I recycle a lot of them to restock the XM I spend reloading portals.
