More seriously, I am trying to close out the ISFiC Press books for 2014 so that Tom can file our tax return.

I can think of about a billion things that are more fun.

I have more energy than a couple of months ago (thanks to new exciting thyroid hormones, but still a limited capacity for Organising Stuff. Yesterday's was spent on determining that our tax authorities appears to view filling in the "fill this section in to have any overpayment refunded to the account you specify" as meaning "by the way, these are my bank account details, but I don't expect you to do anything with them". This explains why not only have I not got back last year's overpayments, I haven't got back the ones for 2012-13 either. *headdesk*

They have now put a note on my account to note that I'd like them to act on the previous note on the account saying that I'd like the repayments in my bank account, please... I wonder what the recursion limit is. Given that I've not been well enough to work for two months, I'd quite like it back sometime!

Summary: death please. Or cake. Cake is good.
