The Washer Report
Jan. 31st, 2015 11:54 pmAn update on the new washer: So far, so good.
Today, I washed a large load of underwear, socks, jeans, and such.
daisy_knotwise looked at the very full laundry basket and questioned whether the new washer could handle a load of that size.
It could. And it spun the water out of it very effectively, so it dried quickly.
Then I washed the old comforter that's been sitting down in the basement for a couple of months. No problem.
And finally, I washed the two bathroom rugs that had been sitting down there for a similar length of time. Also no problem.
So this is encouraging.
Now if Gretchen could just reach the bottom of the washer drum without needing a step stool, it would be perfect. :)

I use something similar to reach things at the back of the dryer drum.
