Yesterday's Excitement

billroperJulie has had a tooth that has been hanging by a thread for a while now. By Wednesday, it got to the point where trying to bite into anything hard hurt, because incisors are like that when they are nearly disconnected.
Unfortunately, nearly disconnected was what we had. The tooth stubbornly refused to come out, although it was starting to pain her greatly. I tried to persuade her to let me work on it with a piece of dental floss, but that wasn't going to happen. So eventually, off to bed she went.

daisy_knotwise took Katie to school, then came home and joined me as we were persuading Julie to work on removing the tooth, which she would not allow us to touch.
An hour-and-a-half later, it was finally out. And Julie went off to school.
So much consternation over such a little tooth. :)
