Some Plans Work Out Better Than Others

I went down to the basement this evening after helping Katie with her spelling homework, intending to check out a few things and pack up the gear for the recording session this weekend. But then my cellphone rang with a call from the fellow who bought my Mackie d8b who is having a mysterious problem with the volume control that I never had. Some substantial and futile troubleshooting followed as I downloaded manuals so I could follow along with the controls that I no longer had in front of me.

I finally had to suggest that he post the question to the d8b forum, because I was stumped.

The rest of the packing will get done tomorrow.
