Meanwhile, Back at the Ballpark

I am foolishly watching tonight's Cards / Dodgers game. (I say "foolishly", because the Cards only did well last night when I wasn't paying attention.)

So far, that luck's holding, because the Cards trail 2-0 and have only one hit. On the other hand, the hit was in the most recent inning, so maybe the luck is thinking about turning around...

Meanwhile, despite having gone 25+ hours without a caffeinated beverage due to Yom Kippur, I somehow managed to stay up through the rather disappointing end of the Nats game. Though I had definitely reached the toothpicks-to-hold-up-the-eyelids point by about the 16th inning.

(I can stay up to - and past - midnight on a good week. This hasn't been a good week.)

Luckily today's O's game is the middle of the afternoon.
