Just got back from seeing Serenity with daisy_knotwise and hundreds of fans. More about that later, because it's much too late to start on that tonight.

Meanwhile, the Sox lost to Detroit tonight, so their lead over Cleveland is two games with six to play. This will not improve Brad's mood at work...

That's true... but at least the Cards hold the best record in baseball. The Indians are trying to cling to their tenuous hold on the wild card and perhaps sneak into the division win over the Sox. I'm guessing you have had a lot of similar conversations to mine.

I think Guillen nailed it when he said "there's not enough baseball players here". Lotsa guys who want to be the big fish in a small pond, but not enough who just like to play....
