Too Damned Cold

I went to tonight's Cubs / Sox game at Wrigley Field and found it to be colder than Sunday's game due to the wind. I stuck it out through six innings and decided that my hands had gotten cold enough through my gloves that it was time to give up, go home, and put little girls to bed.

When I left, the game was tied 1-1. I got to the car just in time to hear Beckham's homer give the Sox a 2-1 lead. I got out of the car at home just before the Sox broke it wide open with three more runs in the ninth.

Probably just as well that I went home. :)
