We managed to get both phones transferred over to Ting, maintaining the old phone numbers, which is good.

In other news, the Nexus 5 stock voice phone dialer is now working via the Bluetooth in the car. I have no idea why. Maybe there was an update.

But so far, so good.

And we should end up saving at least $25 / month compared to what we were paying for cellphone service. :)

There was a recent update, to Android 4.4.2. I'm assuming your Nexus 5 is running at least Android 4.

I've been contemplating the switch to Ting.... The Nexus 5 you bought was for T-Mobile correct.... did you have to replace it to make it work on Ting(Sprint)?

We're not there yet. I need to get to the point where I can afford to Nexus 5's first. And I'm still a bit leary of Sprint's service. Sandy had them a long time ago and it was bad, I'm sure it's improved since then but old grudges and all.
