If the Shoe Fits

The problem that we had getting Katie and Julie off to school this morning ultimately boiled down to the fact that we couldn't find two matching shoes for Katie. Little girl shoes are supposed to go into the shoe bucket, but one of Katie's Skechers was missing. And that was the case for pretty much every shoe in the bucket. Eventually, we found a pair and got them out of here, although they were late. *sigh*

Tonight, we have spent some time excavating. The missing Skecher was under a misplaced chair near the back door.

And there was much rejoicing.
