Murphy's Romance

daisy_knotwise and I kicked back after rehearsal tonight and watched Murphy's Romance. After 20 years, we still like that film.

Me, I just want to look as good as James Garner when I'm that age.

One of my favorites as well. I know I will never look as good as Garner, so I would settle for looking as good as his horse :)

I love that film - isn't it interesting that Garner seemed to always play the same basic character. He wasn't that different in Space Cowboys - a little older, but laid back, easy going, charming. It's like he made a career of playing one role. I don't know if he was ever very different. Maybe he was and I just don't remember.
