Exercisus Interruptus

I got on the exercycle this morning and everything was going fine until about six minutes in when the bicycle seat suddenly vanished underneath me.

Oof! Thump!

Yes, once again the should-be-nigh-unto-impossible-for-this-to-happen giant screw with the enormous handle had come loose.

Katie has been playing around with the exercycle (against my instructions) and was in that corner of the room yesterday opening the window (for no good reason), so I have a sneaking suspicion that someone loosened the screw. *sigh*

I am going to keep a closer eye on that thing...

Yes, but I'm loathe to subject Katie to anesthesia unless absolutely necessary.

Oh, in the screw! The screw is not quite large enough for me to want to try that, even if I had the right tools to pull it off.

Hie thee to to the auto parts store and buy a bottle of Loctite 242 Threadlocker. Should keep Katie at bay until she gets somewhat stronger.

Make sure you get the 242, not 271. You'll never get the 271 loose.
