The Best Laid Plans

We knew Julie was going to miss school today for her trip to the dentist.

We didn't know that we'd be keeping Katie home today with the same cough that's afflicted the rest of the family. But she's upstairs on the couch watching "Girl vs. Monster" while I retreat to the basement for more mixing. And daisy_knotwise and Julie are off to the dentist.

I have my fingers crossed. We'll see how it goes.

How did your family manage to pick up Worldcon crud without actually attending Worldcon?

This is Musecon crud, I suspect. Or some other crud. It's just very long-lasting crud.

And I just got antibiotics to deal with this situation. Hopefully they'll help - since it came on the heels of my last round of infection, he gave me stronger ones this time to hopefully knock it out for good.

Good luck with the antibiotics! We didn't try for them, because we've been dealing with clear mucus, which usually means a viral problem that antibiotics won't touch, but that's a rule of thumb, not an actual diagnosis, so with luck, they'll work well for you.

Given how Gretchen feels, maybe we should have tried antibiotics.
