It Is Being One of Those Days

In other news, I have been dropped a hot client issue to debug. Except that the machine that was supposed to be correctly configured to debug the problem wasn't. After a few hours of work, I have now sorted that out, so in theory I can debug this.
Except that it's a problem with database connectivity which has not been configured at all for our app; nor do I have the database passwords for this machine in order to connect to the database.
We'll see if I can get anyone's attention...
*sigh*
