Too many things have been dumped in the office lately. I am tired of the mess, so I decided to start trying to cut down the count today.
The box from the new wireless access point went over the side of the staircase for recycling. That was simple.
Then there was the drawer from K's dead bedframe that had been wished upon my office because it contained electronics that it was apparently my duty to sort out. I had already removed a perfectly good USB DVD drive that belongs to one of the laptops. Today, I found a wireless keyboard (Logitech) and a wireless mouse (Microsoft) that I have preserved for a better fate. There were three sets of inferior headphones, all of which worked when I plugged them in, so those have been preserved for donation. And there were four USB-C cables, two of which seemed to reliably charge my phone and which were put back on K's desk, while the other two appear to be iffy at best and have been consigned to the trash.
The drawer went downstairs and has been disassembled for use as firewood.
It's cold outside. I think we'll fire up the fireplace again this weekend. :)
