Thanksgiving
Nov. 25th, 2021 10:13 pmIt was a very peaceful Thanksgiving with just the immediate family present. Dinner was kept relatively simple. This was good, because we managed to get past the complications when the meat thermometer failed (and the analog backup was pressed into service) and the food processor went missing (and Gretchen ended up chopping fresh cranberries by hand for the cranberry-orange relish). We're *still* trying to figure out where the food processor is. Gretchen swears that it must have been unpacked already, but the boxes in the library are busily laughing at me with nearly unrestrained glee. But it's got to be here *somewhere*.
Tomorrow, it's off to Chambanacon, which will be my fifth (and final) in-person convention of the year. All things considered, that's a lot of cons!
