Out to Lunch
Apr. 18th, 2021 09:54 pmGretchen and I were casting about for something different to have for lunch today. I have been craving a good smoked brisket sandwich and my Internet search discovered that a City Barbeque had opened one suburb over in Park Ridge. We headed in that direction and had some nice BBQ for lunch.
I unpacked several more boxes today as we continue to load things back into the in-progress kitchen renovation. I also moved the flattened boxes out into the garage, which has substantially improved the complexion of the family room.
We continue to discuss where things are going to go when they are unpacked. We'd both like to have fewer things on the counter, so this will require some sorting out. But progress is being made!
