Katie is about to lose her first baby tooth. A lower incisor is distinctly wiggly today.

The tooth fairy in our neck of the woods leaves golden Sacajawea dollar coins or Susan B. Anthony dollar coins for teeth with no cavities for the girls, and Presidential dollar coins for the same for the boys.

Teeth with cavities get a dime.

The bankers are always charmed when the tooth fairy rep comes in to exchange currency for the big event. I've had managers open the safe with huge, white toothed grins of joy.
