Just the Fax, Ma'am

I win. I think.

The old van was financed through Daimler Chrysler Financial, which no longer exists. However, all of the assets were sold to Ally Financial, which also picked up GMAC.

Now, the only question was "How did the transfer of records go?"

Apparently, it went well. I called Ally this morning, gave them the VIN for the old van, it is in their system, and they will fax a release of lien to my bank (because I don't have a fax here and I don't want to wait for the mail) which I can then use to sell the van to samwinolj and Bonnie.

It may take a day or two to get the release, but this is moving in a much better direction now.

Prep and Landing

Ok, I've printed out the driving directions for the work and Consonance end of the trip.

Now to go to bed, because I need to get up at Oh Dark Thirty to get to my flight on time.
