Oobleck Falling From the Sky
Feb. 24th, 2012 12:15 amOne of the library books that we checked out, because I was very fond of it when I was young, was Bartholomew and the Oobleck by Dr. Seuss. Katie is also very fond of it and we've read it more than once before she goes to bed.
In other news, the rain/snow line has now moved north of Des Plaines. There's a thin coating of snow busily melting on top of wet pavement. The outside temperature is hovering just above freezing, but will likely drop during the night.
By morning, instead of having the sticky form of oobleck, we are going to have the really annoyingly slick version of oobleck on our driveway. I don't know if any of it will qualify as snow by then -- we'll see in the morning.
