Wired!

I had to spend some time untangling the optical cable after pushing it through the exit hole in the back of the console, which meant I was flat on my back with a flashlight resting on my face underneath the console, but the failed cable has now been replaced (although not removed from the mess beneath the console). And I've gone into Cubase and set up the MIDI Time Code and MIDI Machine Control settings so that it will talk to the d8b.

Now, I just need to get that speaker back...
