The Week of Driving Differently

catalana's car while she's off on her summer vacation, it being a good bit cheaper than long-term parking. Since I've been wondering if a Ford Fusion is a suitable successor vehicle to my Ford Five Hundred (rebadged and just refreshed as the Ford Taurus), Erica was good enough to agree that I could drive her car about for an extended test drive.
This started today, right after I replaced the tire with the alarming bulge in the sidewall. (I'd spotted this right after Erica left town, but hadn't had a chance to do anything about it until now.) So far, so good.
