Back From Chambanacon

The Chambanacon hotel used to be a Jumer's. The decor is baroque in the extreme. I don't think I've ever been in a brocade-lined elevator before. The wallpaper and rugs were busy to say the least.
But the beds were comfortable, the plumbing was fine, and there was plenty of hot water, so that wasn't a problem. The con suite was large and a good place to hang out; the filk room a bit small (but they've promised to adjust that next year).
And we did a lot of singing and had a good time hanging out with
