It rained much of the day here, but it looks like it'll be dry for tonight's Cubs / Brewers game. This is good, as daisy_knotwise and I have tickets.

We'll see what happens.

Meanwhile, I have to wait until tomorrow to see if the Cardinals can manage to win a game. *sigh*

The Cure For a Bad Cubs Game

It was a bit chilly tonight. So were the Cubs, who lost 6-0 to the Brewers. Maddux actually pitched a good bit better than the score would indicate. The Cubs hit a good bit worse than the score would indicate.

In any case, daisy_knotwise now has hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies in progress following my brief stop at the Jewel on the way home.
