Mission Accomplished

I came home from work, changed clothes, and hit the room with the primer, Gretchen serving as the support troops and getting more paint on her than I did. I, on the other hand, was a lot sweatier. When we got done, I changed out of the sopping rag of a shirt and we went to Portillo's to grab dinner while the paint dried.
We stopped by Home Depot to pick up more painting supplies on the way home. Then I changed clothes again and we painted the room a lovely pale shade of green that coordinates with the new tile. We think it looks pretty good. We may even take pictures of it when we're done.
But that was one sadly soaked shirt when I was done. That room gets hot near the ceiling!
