Weekend Update

Saturday, I got to go to the Cubs/Sox game down at the Baseball Park Formerly Known As Comiskey, because Bob Tjarks, my baseball buddy and the manager at Gand, offered me his extra ticket. It was a pretty decent game save for the fact that the Cubs lost ignominiously. But we got to see lots of fireworks every time that a Cubs pitcher gave up a home run (that would be three times).

Sunday, Gretchen and I shot up to Milwaukee for Richard Letterman's 50th birthday party. This was fun and gave us a chance to chat with a bunch of people we don't see all that often.

Now we're back home and I'm checking the computer while Gretchen chats with her brother, Jeff, on the phone. When that's done, we need to do the pre-cleaning-lady cleanup, which will probably keep us busy until we collapse in bed.
